Dates:1/1/1900 - 1/1/1940
Album Info:Most of these early 1900's postcards are from Northern New Jersey with a couple from Southern New York. For the most part, they fall into the 1900-1920 time frame. Although not a RR postcard collector, I'll pick one up from time to time if it shows an old picture of a place I'm familiar with. Enjoy. Latest update: 8/24/08-10 new pictures.

Bergenfield, NJ Train Station 1908
Title:  Bergenfield, NJ Train Station 1908
Description:  This view of Bergenfield, NJ is postmarked 1908. I wonder if those steps next to the tracks have something to do with handing up mail on the fly to an RPO car.

Erie Northern Branch Station
Title:  Erie Northern Branch Station
Description:  The image on this card is slightly blurry, but it looks like a weekend or Holiday scene since there are so many women waiting for the train. A weekday scene in 1914, the postmark date, would show mostly men, since women didn't work back then. The engine may be an Erie 4-6-0.
